Privacy

This site sets no cookies, has no accounts, runs no analytics and contains no forms. What follows is the short and complete description of what that leaves.

What the site collects

Nothing. There is no account system, no login, no comment section, no newsletter signup and no contact form. No cookie is set by this site, and no local storage is written. Nothing you do here is recorded by us or associated with you.

Server logs

The web server that delivers these pages keeps standard access logs, in the way essentially every web server does. Those logs typically contain the requested URL, a timestamp, a status code, a user agent string and an IP address. They exist for operational reasons such as diagnosing errors and detecting abuse, and they are not used to build profiles of visitors or combined with any other source.

Third-party resources

Pages load a small number of external files: a stylesheet and script bundle from a public content delivery network, an icon font from the same source, and web fonts from a font hosting service. Requesting a file from another host means that host receives your IP address and user agent, as it does for any request your browser makes on the open web.

Those requests carry no identifier from this site, because this site has none to attach. Each provider operates under its own privacy terms, which are outside the control of this desk.

Outbound links

Entries link to venue documentation, public explorers and, in some places, a commercial console. Following a link takes you to a site with its own policies and its own data practices. No tracking parameters, redirect hops or shortened URLs are added to any link on this site; every outbound link points directly at the destination address shown.

Email

If you write to the desk, your message and your email address exist in an inbox for as long as they are useful, which is generally until the matter is resolved. They are not added to a list, not used for anything you did not write in for, and not shared.

Children

This is a reference publication about market structure and is not directed at children. It collects nothing from anybody, which includes them.

Changes

If this site ever adds something that collects data, such as analytics or a form, this page will say so before the change goes live rather than afterwards. The current state is described above and is intended to stay that way.
