How Rules Are Written
This page sets out the standard every entry on the site is held to: where claims come from, when a number is allowed to appear, how outbound links are handled, and what happens when something here turns out to be wrong.
Sourcing
Mechanical claims come from three places. Protocol design and public documentation published by the venues themselves. The chain, which anyone can read through a public explorer. And arithmetic, which is shown rather than asserted so that a reader can check it.
Where a venue's own documentation is the authority for a claim, the entry links to it directly. Those links carry rel="nofollow noopener" and open in a new tab. If a claim cannot be traced to one of the three sources above, it does not belong in an entry, however reasonable it sounds.
The numbers rule
A number may appear here in exactly three circumstances. It is a protocol fact, such as a decimal count or a constant defined by a program. It is arithmetic explicitly labelled illustrative, using round invented figures chosen to show a mechanism and describing no real pair or trade. Or it is attributed to a named public source that a reader can open.
Everything else is excluded. There are no market statistics on this site, no measurements of how often anything happens, no aggregate figures about trader behaviour, and no ratings or review counts. Not because such numbers are uninteresting, but because this desk has no dataset that would support them, and inventing one is the single most common failure in this category of publishing.
What is never published
- Price predictions, targets or directional calls on any asset.
- Win rates, expectancy, profit figures or backtest results.
- Fabricated statistics, ratings, review counts or testimonials.
- Invented people, credentials, photographs or biographies.
- Case studies describing trades that did not happen.
- Backdated publication dates. Dates on this site are real build dates.
Dates and revisions
Each entry carries a publication date equal to the date it was built and a modification date that updates when the file changes. Neither is backdated to make the site look older. Where an entry describes venue mechanics, treat it as accurate at the time of writing and check the venue's current documentation before relying on it.
Commercial links
Some entries link to a commercial volume automation console, and the header carries a button to the same destination. Those links are ordinary editorial links, placed where the surrounding paragraph is genuinely about the subject the destination covers, and they open in a new tab.
The desk does not run that console, does not audit its output and does not verify claims made on it. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to use it or any other tool, and no entry changes its conclusions because a link appears on the page. Where an entry describes produced activity, it does so in the same neutral terms it uses for arbitrage or distribution: a flow class with a signature and a sizing consequence.
Independence of the writing
The test applied to every entry is whether it would read the same with every commercial link removed. If a paragraph exists to host a link rather than to make a point, the paragraph is cut. If a rule would be stated differently without the link, the entry is wrong and gets rewritten.
Corrections
Errors are expected, particularly where venue mechanics change after an entry is written. Corrections are made directly in the entry, and where a correction changes the substance of a claim rather than its wording, a dated note is added at the point of the change.
To report one, write to the address on the contact page with the page, the passage and, if possible, the source that contradicts it. A correction supported by primary documentation or by an on-chain reference is acted on quickly; one that amounts to a difference of opinion about what a market will do is not a correction, because this site publishes no view on that.
Scope limits
This is a publication about market structure and process. It is not financial advice, not a recommendation of any asset, and not a service that tells anyone what to trade. Nothing here accounts for your circumstances, your jurisdiction or your tax position, and no rule on this site can make a market cooperate with it.
